What, you want to take apart your Pong unit?
Yes, there are certain times when taking apart Atari Pong is a requirement. When I bought my Super Pong, for example, the video was rolling. I needed to adjust the RF, but still couldn't get it to lock, and finally ended up replacing the part, spending all of 25 cents. The biggest pain was actually taking the thing apart. Why is it difficult?
Well, after you remove the battery cover and unscrew the battery case you will find two screws that look like this on top:

What is wrong with this picture? Well, I know of no standard screwdriver that uses this head. If you know where I can get one, please let me know! Anyway, how do you take it apart without a mallet?
What I did was use a small screwdriver and slowly work it out. Stick the driver(flathead of course) into one of the holes and apply a tiny bit of pressure. It will take a long time to get these screws out, but it beats ruining the unit.
If you think you'll ever take it apart again, replace the screws. Just keep in mind that these two screws are 4 inches long. :-D
